Hello! We’ve been quiet of late but want you to know that we are very busy behind the scenes.
The June screening went well and was a really valuable learning tool. Bill did a huge amount of heavy lifting in order for that to take place and I’m so grateful to him for all the late-nights he put in and the attention to detail. We had an appreciative audience that said lots of nice things – that felt good!
Both of us have been working around other gigs while working on the final edit. It’s a slower process than this impatient person would like – but there’s no getting around it. I’m looking forward to having more time beginning in October and Bill has carved out several weeks that month so fingers crossed, we will be well on the way to a final cut by early November.
Post production is quite a process, too, but we’ve prepared for that by lining up our collaborators for color correction, animation + graphics and the sound edit. Those pieces and securing rights are the last hurdles and we will work on those concurrently.
We’re in the early stages of planning a fundraiser in December. Again, everything is in the works but I will be posting more definite news soon.
